It has been one heck of a sunshine filled summer and we are thankful for it!
So here it goes, round 11.
But first- a favorite recent patient quote:
“I AM EXCITED, I AM JUST NOT GOOD AT SHOWING IT WITH MY FACE.”
(R)eading: One of Dr. O’s go-to reads is Botanical Medicine for Women’s Health: Second Edition written by Aviva Romm, MD. It is a comprehensive guide she references to make her magical elixirs (aka tinctures) that have often been reported to “taste like the earth,” and then also bring about relief and healing from chronic, ongoing symptoms.
(E)ating: The strawberries we have been purchasing and consuming have been top notch this season and hot takes are in. What do you think, is it perfectly fine to eat this entire beauty of a berry, including the greens?!
Check out this Instagram reel for a giggle or two.
(O)bsessing: We have been obsessing over a new tea flavor in the office, Pomegranate Raspberry Green Tea put out by Stash Tea.
(R)ecommending: We recommend calling a friend or loved one you haven’t spoken to in awhile and catching up with them. It is convenient and nice to have our socials, DMs and texting but there is something extra special about hearing someone’s voice and engaging in an ole fashioned conversation. Better yet, invite them over for dinner or for an outside stroll and reconnect with what it is like to be human.
One of the greatest markers of longevity is the strength of your relationships.
(T)reating: Have you ever wondered how your vaginal microbiome was doing? How about your gut health? What about your micronutrient status (the not-so little guys that keep our body and cells running on a daily basis)? Check out our Health Discovery Sessions and share them with someone you think might be interested, too!
They are a great way to be able to meet with Dr. O, one on one, and not have to commit to a package or yearly membership.
